FIND OUT ABOUT MEMBERSHIP
Currently, instead of fielding a local team, SEAL Robotics is working closely with several beginning teams, helping them get started in MATE underwater robotics.
For future reference...
The first step to becoming a member of S.E.A.L Robotics Team is for the the prospective team member and their parent(s) to attend an Open House meeting. Please let us know of your interest in coming to an open house event by emailing sealroboticsteam@gmail.com.
Once the parent and prospective team member have attended a meeting and learned more about the team, requirements, expenses, philosophy, etc., the next step is to fill out some waivers and paperwork to begin a trial evaluation period.
Prospective team members will then attend regular meetings for 4 to 6 weeks, giving both the new student and existing team members and mentors a chance to see if the team looks to be a good fit. After this evaluation period, if the team seems like a good fit for the student, then a robotics team mentor will discuss next steps with the team member and their parent(s).
